dB3 Max for walls

Heavyweight POE Noise Control

Control noise levels with the dB3 Max POE barrier. Similar to dB3 and dB3 Lite, however the heavyweight option includes an attached polyester fiber layer. The acoustic and impact isolator offers robust soundproofing performance and is a popular noise control option for contractors and architects.

The heavyweight POE barrier with an attached polyester fiber layer, is also an ideal option option for retrofit installations. The combination of the materials blocks both airborne sound and structural vibrations. All dB Noise Barrier products are made with POE (polyolefin elastomer) – the highest performing barrier compound for mass loaded acoustic applications. POE is safe and does not off gas or absorb dangerous chemicals. The flexibility allows material to vibrate converting sound into heat – improving noise reduction. POE does not become brittle with age. Made in America.

dB3 Max is environmentally safe and acts as an air and moisture barrier to resist mold and mildew. Ideal for commercial and residential construction, apartments, hotels, recording studios, theaters conference rooms and more!

  • Designed for applications needing sound blocking and vibration isolation such as industrial and athletic facilities
  • Excellent material for retrofit installations
  • Can be installed on an existing wall and covered with drywall without removing the existing drywall
  • Moisture barrier

Be sure to explore other dB3 products such as the dB3, dB3 Lite and dBTop Stop for ceilings.
