X•Board® Paint + Remodel Seam Tape

Heavy-Duty Contractor Grade Seam Tape

This 2″ heavy-duty seam tape is designed to cover X•Board® seams quickly and easily, providing superior surface protection for any work area. Engineered with kraft backing and contractor-grade adhesive, Trimaco’s single sided tape seam tape is built to last throughout your renovation, DIY projects, or construction jobs. This remodeling tape lays flat upon application and has excellent tensile strength, making it flexible and easy to work with.

To apply, simply overlap the X•Board® Surface Protector by roughly half an inch. While keeping it in place, adhere the tape along the seams and smooth it down. For securing the surface protector, consider using a less aggressive option like Trimaco’s 90-day Floor Tape or blue painter’s tape around the perimeter. Please note: Do not use this remodeling tape directly on floors. Always test the adhesive before use.
