DB3 MASS LOADED POE NOISE BARRIER

This heavyweight noise barrier is primarily used behind finished wall surfaces such as layers of drywall to block sound transmission. All dB sound blocking acoustic materials are made with POE (polyolefin elastomer) – the highest performing sound barrier compound for mass loaded acoustical applications. POE is safe and does not off-gas or absorb dangerous chemicals. The flexibility allows acoustic materials to vibrate converting sound into heat – improving noise reduction. POE does not become brittle with age.

This environmentally safe material works by absorbing sounds such as voices, music, and television to create a quiet and comfortable space. It is great for sound absorption in community residential buildings, commercial office spaces, recording studios, or home theaters. Residents can enjoy their space without disturbing the floor above.
