POE sound control for acoustic ceilings

Top Stop is a multiple layer fire rated POE acoustical ceiling material. Sound transmission from adjacent rooms can be a major problem in business offices, medical exam rooms, and other locations where suspended ceiling systems are installed. This acoustic ceiling material is designed to eliminate voice and activity noise that transmits sound waves in adjacent rooms where acoustic ceilings are installed.

All dB Noise Barrier products offered by Trimaco are made with POE (polyolefin elastomer) – the highest performing barrier compound for mass loaded acoustical applications. POE is safe and does not off-gas or absorb dangerous chemicals. The flexibility allows the sound absorption material to vibrate converting sound into heat – improving noise reduction. POE does not become brittle with age and offers great sound isolation.

The easy to install, acoustic ceiling material is precut, offers versatile sound reduction and environmentally friendly. To use, simply lift one side of the acoustic ceiling tile and slide the Top Stop sheet into place. Noise barrier sheets can be used in new or existing construction where mineral fiber or metal ceilings tiles are installed.
