What is Flooring Paper Used For?

This heavy-duty floor protection paper is 1.5x thicker than traditional brown builder’s paper. X-Paper provides some protection against water and paint spills, and will not rip from general site foot traffic. How to Install Flooring Paper

1. First, determine how many rolls of X-Paper you’ll need to cover your surface. All rolls measure 36 inches in width and 120 feet in length.
2. Next, simply roll out X-Paper on the area which needs protecting.
3. Cut to desired length using scissors. Overlap the seams and tape together with one of Trimaco’s tapes. We recommend using our Easy Mask Blue Painter’s Tape.
4. To ensure your temporary floor protection paper stays in place, tape the perimeter down as well. **Whichever tape you decide to utilize, we highly recommend testing in an inconspicuous spot to prevent damage.
