It is sandwiched between two of the most festive holidays (Halloween and Christmas) and most people are focused on the delicious spread of food. Add some spark in your Thanksgiving d\u00e9cor with this simple, yet fun Thanksgiving Banner:<\/p>\n<h3>Materials needed:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Trimaco <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">X\u2022Paper<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Scissors<\/li>\n<li>Letter and fall image stencils<\/li>\n<li>Trimaco Easy Mask\u00ae <a href=\"https:\/\/trimaco.com\/products\/masking-tapes\/kleenedge-perfect-edge-painting-tape\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">KleenEdge\u00ae Low Tack&#x2122; Painting Tape<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Trimaco 6\u2019 x 8\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/trimaco.com\/products\/dropcloths\/stay-put-canvas-plus\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Stay Put\u00ae Canvas Plus<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Roll of twine<\/li>\n<li>Acrylic paint (in desired colors)<\/li>\n<li>Hole puncher (one hole)<\/li>\n<li>Foam brushes<\/li>\n<li>Disposable plate for paint<\/li>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/trimaco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/story-3.jpg\" alt=\"DIY Thanksgiving Banners first steps\" width=\"100%\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-6399 lazyload\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/trimaco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/story-3.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/trimaco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/story-3-300x198.jpg 300w, https:\/\/trimaco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/story-3-768x508.jpg 768w, https:\/\/trimaco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/story-3-624x412.jpg 624w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 1024px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 1024\/677;\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Directions:<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>First gather your materials and lay down a Trimaco <a href=\"https:\/\/trimaco.com\/products\/dropcloths\/stay-put-canvas-plus\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Stay Put Canvas Plus Drop Cloth<\/a> to contain mess and provide an easy clean up.<\/li>\n<li>Roll out roughly 1-2 yard of Trimaco\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/trimaco.com\/products\/heavy-duty-surface-protection\/flooring-protection-paper-x-paper\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">X-Paper<\/a> and measure out individual banner pieces (make sure you have enough for whatever saying you desire, and a few extras if you want to add a few image pieces). We made our rectangular pieces, like the stencil shape- but feel free to get creative!<\/li>\n<li>Cut the measured pieces and set aside.<\/li>\n<li>Punch two holes in the top of each banner piece in order to thread the twine and hang your banner later.<\/li>\n<li>Next, tape down the letter and image stencils using Trimaco\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/trimaco.com\/products\/masking-tapes\/kleenedge-perfect-edge-painting-tape\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">KleenEdge Low Tack Tape<\/a> to each individual banner piece.<\/li>\n<li>Lightly paint over the stencils with a color of your choosing.
