Introducing X-Board Pro: Same Trusted Protection, Bold New Look

Share

In surface protection, it’s not just about how tough a product is. It’s also about how it shows up. That’s why we’re excited to share a fresh update to one of our most trusted products: FloorShell is now X-Board Pro.

But this isn’t just a name change. It’s part of a broader update across our entire X-Family, designed to make it easier for professionals to choose the right protection for every job.

Why the Name Change?

FloorShell has long been a favorite among contractors and remodelers for its heavy-duty, breathable protection. The new name, X-Board Pro, better reflects its place as the top-tier solution in our lineup. It’s still the same trusted product- durable, spill-resistant, and built to protect your surfaces on the toughest jobsite. But now, it’s aligned with a naming system that clearly communicates performance levels.

A Unified Packaging System

To complement the name change, we’re rolling out new packaging across all three products in the X-Family line. This update brings a consistent, professional look that makes it easier to identify each product’s performance level at a glance:

  • X-Paper (Green): Our good option- ideal for light-duty jobs and quick coverage.
  • X-Board (Light Blue): The better choice- stronger and more versatile for mid-level protection.
  • X-Board Pro (Red): The best- ultra heavy-duty, breathable, and built for demanding job sites.

Each product will feature a dark navy blue accent, tying the sub-brands back to their Trimaco roots and reinforcing the quality and reliability pros expect.

Why It Matters

This update isn’t just about looks- it’s about making your job easier. With clearer naming and color-coded packaging, you’ll be able to spot the right product fast, whether you’re grabbing it off the shelf or ordering online. We know that when you’re on the job, there’s no time for second guesses- you need the right protection to get it done right the first time.

Look for the new packaging soon at your local distributor or contact us for more information!
