DuPont Tyvek High Vis Safety Coveralls

Share

From industrial construction sites to small residential renovations, safety is always a worker’s number one priority. It’s important to use products on site to protect floors and surfaces. However, it’s critical to protect those doing to job.

Standard guidelines recommend multiple types of personal protective equipment including:

  • Eye & face protection
  • Head & hand protection
  • High visibility protection

What is High Visibility Protection?

First introduced to railroad workers in the mid 1900s, the fluorescent protective clothing improved safety around fast moving trains. The idea was to simply make the workers “more visible”. As products evolved, more uses for reflective wear seemed relevant and necessary.

Specifically in the construction industries, this protective wear is critical for people who work around fast moving traffic and heavy equipment. The bright colors alert others that they are present, and therefore reduce the risk of accidents.

Why is High-Vis important?

High Visibility clothing is a simple, and effective way to keep workers safe in busy and dangerous environments. It’s always important to know where all team members are on a jobsite, as well as understand what the potential risks are.
