All dB sound blocking acoustic materials are made with POE (polyolefin elastomer) \u2013 the highest performing sound barrier compound for mass loaded acoustical applications. POE is safe and does not off-gas or absorb dangerous chemicals. The flexibility allows acoustic materials to vibrate converting sound into heat \u2013 improving noise reduction.
