Trimaco Aqua Shield Line | Reusable Floor Protection

Share

Aqua Shield is one of Trimaco’s most popular reusable floor protection products. As the demand for heavy duty surface protection continues to grow within various industries, Trimaco will continue to create and deliver products.

There are quite a few options to choose from within the Aqua Shield family, so we wanted to take the time to compare each option in order for you to choose the product that best fits your job’s needs.

The Tried & True, Aqua Shield

The original and most familiar of the family, this heavy duty roll exhibits all the desired features and benefits of a high quality, reusable surface protector.

  • Leak Proof to keep your surfaces protected from paint and water
  • Slip Resistant to ensure a safe work environment
  • Dust Free properties to maintain proper air quality on areas such as construction sites, healthcare facilities and data centers
  • Flame Retardant to control potential fires

The blue rolls are available in a variety of thicknesses and sizes to meet the needs of your job:

10 mil: Great for countertops, raised surfaces, walls and low foot traffic areas
25 mil: Ideal for medium traffic areas, and can withstand materials such as ladders, carts and paint sprayers
40 mil: The thickest option can withstand heavy machinery such as forklifts and high traffic areas that need long lasting protection

Aqua Shield, Spray Booth Edition

Looking for the perfect surface protector inside your spray booth? No need to look any further! Trimaco’s Aqua Shield Spray Booth Edition is 10 mil thick and provides leakproof, dust-free, anti-static, FR protection. The neutral white color provides better visibility so the painter can eliminate the risk of too many coats or a tainted finish.

The lightweight rolls are easy to work with and install. Keep in the spray booth for as long as needed or as long as color stays white. Once finished, recycle in accordance with your local recycling program.

New to the family, Aqua Shield Non-FR

Trimaco’s Aqua Shield Non-FR is the newest edition to the line. Although not flame retardant, the temporary floor protection rolls are still dust-free, leak resistant, slip resistant and reusable.

Similar to the original Aqua Shield, the teal green rolls are also available in 10mil, 25mil and 40mil options to stand up to any needs on your jobsite. Ideal for surface or floor protection during construction, when FR materials are not required or a concern.

Aqua Shield Seam Tape

Not a surface protector, but an important accessory nonetheless. Trimaco’s Aqua Shield Seam Tape can be used for every type of Aqua Shield. Seam tape is designed with PE-coated cloth backing with a natural rubber-based aggressive adhesive to keep seams tight and sealed. Only apply Seam tape to seam. Explore less aggressive tapes to secure the perimeter of the surface protector to the floor. As always, when taping surface protectors to the floor, test in an inconspicuous area to avoid floor damage.

The blue tape is durable, tearable and makes installing Aqua Shield easy. *Apply seam tape only on seams and not directly onto floors. Aqua Shield Seam Tape is not Flame Retardant.
